Publications

Over the years, there were several publications within the firm. Our collection of publications includes:

KSA News

Copies reproduced here start with Volume 11 in June 1960 and carry through Volume 15 in December 1965. For whatever reason, 1960 and 1961 are both identified as Volume II (note that is II and not 11, so not clear how many volumes preceded these). These publications are rich with stories about life as a consultant.

The KSA Observer

The longest running single publication ran from 1970 to 2008. This grew out of the old KSA News format and added photographs and broader stories about the business of consulting while continuing to promote the progress of individuals in the firm. Every training class (and in the early years all new employees) is captured in these documents. This ran for many years as a quarterly publication and eventually reduced to once a year (and a couple of years were skipped).

Be careful about downloading these if you have a slow internet connection.  Each issue is 25 - 30MB.

The Hotsheet

This originated as a newsletter within the Logistics Services group and ran for a number of years.

The Download

This became the next evolution of the Observer and was an on-line only publication.

Other

There are also a number of other interesting documents included here about our history, some examples of things we published, and a summary of our 1980 strategy which was probably one of the most important steps that helped direct our focus to become the firm we did.

Press Clippings

There are a few of the older press clippings included here, but nothing over the past few decades. In reality, KSA came to become widely and frequently quoted in major business and trade publications over the years.
